You can patch from Bnet, no? Sorry if I'm totally mistaken |
||
|
You absolutely can, but this is for fixing something totally different. a) You're using a windows emulator (VMWare or equivalent) which has the reputation of messing up your reg. b) You're using windows XP which is really unstable and can mess up your reg. c) You tried to manually patch and that messed up your reg. d) You used a program that speeds up your comp by deleting unnecessary reg entries. e) Your WC3 installer (CD or downloaded) is corrupted and just uses a default reg entry. In any of these situations, no matter how you try and patch your game (manual, bnet, or otherwise), you will get an error and be unable to patch. This is an easy way to fix that. Hope that answers some questions. |
