Since this season is nearing its end I decided to gather rank distribution data in order to make a pretty looking chart. Of course, as I hardly ever succeed in making anything pretty, you'll probably find my graphs awful. Still, it is important so I will share. The original idea isn't mine, last season some guy (I forgot his ID, anyone else knows?) posted a very cool looking graph depicting said data and I instantly liked his idea.

That's quite a number of D rank players. Almost 60% of all players! Though that's to be expected since we all have a couple of accounts and only play a game or two on some of them so they stay on D rank. I think that accounts that haven't played a single game this season aren't shown on the 1x1 ladder, so they aren't present in this data. Though, people who reset their stats back to 0-0 are shown afaik.

Anyhoo, hope you like it. Feel good if you're C-, because even if you feel like a newbie being only on that rank, the truth is… you are better than a lot of people and the time you put into practicing isn't in vain. (Well, that's debatable… but applicable to all non top players.)
