Okay lets review for a moment, contrary to popular belief not all admins are ladder admins. Along this point this means that not every admin can help you with your specific problem. Assuming that just because we have iCCup. before our name and a nifty ADMIN rank icon means we can help you with anything won't get you very far.

How can you solve this misconception and try to talk to the admins you need to talk to for your specific problem? When on the server try looking at our profiles almost all of us will tell you exactly what kind of an admin we are in our profile. I for example am a trial tournament admin which leads us to the second part.

Know your problem

If you have had a disconnect in a game that was reported incorrectly or a problem with your points admins you are looking for are Ladder admins. Asking other admins or going straight to the webmasters about this problem will only get you referred back to the Ladder admins. Now how should you contact the Ladder admins? You need to make a complaint through your match list including the replay of the game the players who were involved and their ranks and the basic details of what happened and what the exact problem is.

Did you run into a problem on the website? Most of us don't handle website problems there is a nifty forum called contact the webmaster if you run into a major issue that needs repair http://www.iccup.com/iccforum/7/ . If it's a normal technical problem not every admin on the server will know how to fix it going here instead of posting on the first forum that comes into your mind will help http://www.iccup.com/iccforum/6/ . There is also a channel which admins will open to help people with technical issues called ICCUP Tech Support where admins will take time to help people who are having problems.

If you believe someone is abusing the game either using bugs or illegal third party programs including but not limited to maphacks drophacks and mineral hacks there is a forum to report abusers here http://www.iccup.com/iccforum/26/ to the CAT team who will make a review and take necessary actions read the sticky at the top to make sure you are posting correctly.

If your match did not appear on the match list there is one forum only to go to and that is here http://www.iccup.com/iccforum/12/ this forum is ONLY for unreported games and you must follow a very specific guideline for posting there take a look at the sticky at the top for more information.

If you submitted a complaint and believe the admin made the wrong decision posting flames on general chat is not the way to go open a formal complaint here http://www.iccup.com/iccforum/16/ where it will be reviewed by the admin's superior or head admin if they are a super admin. This is not a place for spam only for disagreeing POLITELY with the decision made, insulting the admin and calling them stupid for making the "wrong decision" does not help your argument in any way. Read the sticky threads at the top of the forum to see exactly how to post your complaint.

Simple rules to follow:

Read the stickies in each forum to see if the purpose is what you think it is

When talking to an admin on the server make sure you're talking to the right type of admin.

In Conclusion

Most important is to be respectful to the admins, we are not paid and we do this for the good of the users. It doesn't help when people are yelling at us to get their problem solved. If you are careful to contact the admins through the right channels and explain your problem politely you are likely to get your problem solved faster.
