Only the final eight remain in the highly intense, cutthroat world of the TeamLiquid StarLeague. And we are looking forward to seeing these bloody battles. The Razer TeamLiquid StarLeague Playoffs had already brought some surprises. Christoph "Mondragon" Semke, who was expected to win the league, is already out of the tournament, while Russian new star Pavel "Brat_OK" Kuznetsov and the famous Christof "Draco" Nalepka advanced to the semifinals.

RoX.Brat_OK advancing into the playoffs with beating Tyler "NonY" Wasilieski and Tomasz "Tarson" Boron in TeamLiquid StarLeague group stage. He blew the European scene up like a firework and is expected to create some more sensations.

There he got through the forgiven ex-hacker Hayder "HayprO" Hussein and then won over Grzegorz "Dreiven" Kordek with an impressive score of 3:0. Due to the fact that Dreiven knocked out the heavy favorite Mondragon in the 1/8 finals, his lose to Brat_OK was clearly a shock.

Another eyecatching game was between Draco, who is a free agent at the moment, and the WCG 2007 fourth placed Ukrainian player Olexii "White-Ra" Krupnik. Draco managed to win it and continued his way to the final.
Other quarterfinal pairs are NonY versus Rafal "Gosia" Kontowicz and Jian Fei "IefNaij" Wang against Cristóbal "DinOt" Lledó. Stay tuned.
