If you have trouble hosting games, meaning creating games and no one ever joining, this is for you. You must open up your router settings and go to "Applications and Gaming".
Under Application, type Starcraft , port range 6112 to 6112 , TCP and UDP checked off, put in your IP address, and click "Enable"
Under Apllications again, type SC, port range 6113 to 6119, TCP and UDP checked off, put in your IP address, and click "Enable"
This should help.
Best of lucky,

This following site will give you detail instructions on how to open your port for SC with almost every model of Router
