Tonight's Proleague definitely has something that alot of people are looking forward to. The clash between "The Emperor" and the "Tornado Terran". WeMade FOX is standing at a nice 3rd place ranking in the Proleagues, while Air Force Ace desperately needs as many wins as possible being in last place in the Proleague ranks. Air Force Ace's line up looks okay but a victory against WeMade FOX doesn't seem like much of a possibility.

Last week, SC2GG Staff decided to poll our wonderful staff to see who would make the cut for our very own Top 10 poll. Writers, commentators, admins, and just about any staff member was allowed to submit their own personal Top 10. If you're familiar with American college sports you'll already be familiar with the system - #1 gets 10 points, #2 gets 9, etc. all the way down to #10, who gets 1 point. Add up the points from each individual vote cast, and whoever has the most total points in the end is ranked higher. So, without farther ado, here's our first Top 10!

SK Telecom T1 Point of View

At 4-3, T1 is now in sixth place in the Proleague standings - two spots out of the last playoff slot. Though it's still quite early in the season, their strong position after seven matches is just proof that T1 is much improved over last year and has the potential to surprise and impress. To maintain their current momentum, T1 will need to come away from its match against 9th-place OnGameNet SPARKYZ with a solid win. How does T1 stack up against OGN for their Monday night match?

CJ Entus Point of View

Well, CJ really really would like to forget last week ever happened. After a hard fought match versus STX SouL they came up just short in the Ace match, and they were taken to school by Samsung KHAN, with firebathero adding one more win against the maestro to his repertoire. They need a stopper bad to keep from falling below .500 - but that won't come easy against the #1 team in the league, Lecaf Oz. Its a rematch of last season's Round 2 final: CJ vs. Lecaf. Game on!

The OSL is finally nearing its end. With the Round of 16 matches starting is less than a week today, who knows what we'll end up seeing.

Flash has been doing very well the past few months so it looks like it's going to be a tough one on GGPlay to win his first match. While BeSt has been playing well the past few matches going up against NaDa isn't going to be easy, especially when NaDa is going to be practicing JUST TvP (His group is just him and 3 Protoss). Next one is a ZvZ where you know that July is looking for revenge from losing the last 2 matches against Luxury. Last but not least, Much and ... BackHo? Really don't know how he got here (Sorry BackHo fans) but I don't think he'll make it past Much. :S

The new league run by GOMTV themselves has begun. This league now known as the Averatec-Intel Classic 2008 Season 1, was the product of a test run called the GomTV Star Invitational that produced an unexpectedly huge amount of viewers.

This league unlike the others has no preliminary stages and every match is considered to be in a knockout fashion. Prior to the start of the league a contest was run where the top 4 Starcraft players played in a tournament where the winner took home about $10,000 USD. This title was easily taken by Flash when he beat Mind in the finals 3-1 after losing the very first game.

SK Telecom T1 heads into their match against eSTRO on a two-match winstreak. Can Midas and company overcome their effeminate cheek tattoos to make it three in a row?
