The iCCup A/B Tournament finals match was an amazing series between

iFU.Mamon and ![]()
tjdnfdndb. These final games from my point of view was one full of unorthodox plays and builds, but that just made the matches even more exciting. It was to be played in a best out of 5 games.

---+--- Game Summary/Analysis ---+---
Game 1:
You could already tell from the start it was going to be an aggressive push game from Mamon, who went with a 10/9 overhatch, 9 pool speed ling build and tjd, for short, going with the basic protoss FE build. Producing mass lings from two hatches it looked like Mamon would be going for a run by, but tjd putting his wall down very well along with blocking of probes, it would make it quite impossible for him to get by with his lings. Once noticing this he went for a drone pump to lurker tech. Tjd quickly teched for reaver/sairs which can be a deadly combination against zerg and proved to be so. With some great shuttle/reaver micro obtaining about 31 kills with his reaver and ending the game with Mamon calling GG.
iFU.Mamon 0 — 1

Game 2:
From the beginning, it looked like tjd was going to try and get this game over quickly and skipped on doing the FE build and went for quick forge. While Mamon went for a 9 pool speed ling build, but little did he know that tjd would be building cannons behind
the wall of his expo. In seeing this Mamon went and quickly took out both cannons and the game looked to possibly be over for tjd, but than again never assume because he soon worked his way back into the game. Mamon try to do some ling harass deferring from a possible quick spire or hydra break. Lings soon became pointless in the game so he went for a quick lurk tech with drops, which was well defended by tjd and he soon countered with +2 attack goons going thru the back mineral field of Mamon's base, causing the end of game 2 which seemed to be a bizarre and crazy but good game.
iFU.Mamon 0 — 2

Game 3:
Mamon starting with the same build as game one 10/9 over hatch, 9 pool, looking for another quick aggressive harass. Tjd went with the standard ZvP build of a FE. Once again, Mamon playing aggressive and crazy as he was in the previous games tried to do a run by from the back on his expo which was quickly spotted by tjd and defended by a wall of probes, also in seeing that placed down one more cannon and already had a few zealots to go along with it. Mamon than soon pushed in for his one and final attack of lings, this was well defended and guarded by tjd, which caused Mamon to call a quick GG giving tjd the finals victory of the A/B Tournament.
iFU.Mamon 0 — 3

Final Review:
the games I seen myself it was a very good tournament full of different erratic styles of play, but that just made it one of the best tournaments I've viewed on iCCup to this day. With that being said, Thanks to everyone who participated and was involved in the running of this tournament along with a big thanks to the commentators who had it on live stream. CONGRATS to tjdnfdndb with the tournament victory as well.
