It's the 24th — time for presents!

The SCBW staff of ICCup is proud to present you the long awaited return of our ICCup Attack series! This time it features one really oldschool and highly skilled players with a cast by two of the most popular and respected persons of our community.

What is ICCup Attack?

ICCup Attack is a show for everyone: on the 29th December at 23:00 CET you should join the channel Attack! You will find our hero, the organizers and the casters idling there. Every one of you is able to challenge the top player to a 1on1. While he plays you the casters are going to interview and distract him — and may introduce handicaps to make it fair, if the gap is too big.

The Hosts

The Attack will be hosted by ICCup, Pholon, Quint and SethGecko[Xp]. The casters will be none other than Sayle himself; there should be no need to introduce him, if you missed the many events he has casted in the past year, we won't be able to help you either. The other caster is Teamliquid's very own Manifesto7 — oldschool, manly and a armed with his big knowledge. The duo infernale is supported by Kiante, an Australien BW-die-hard, that will make sure the camera is spot on.

The Player

And now for the most important person — our hero. He announced his comeback earlier this month @ TL.net's Blog section; probably the biggest come-back of a foreigner ever since Kolll started to stream again: Eric "G5" Rothmuller. G5 is one of the best US players and a specialist for PvT. You might know him from back in the days when he was playing in [Media] — the clan of Artosis, Tasteless, Machine and Idra. The Mantoss was good enough to actually defeat Boxer in a very convincig match at IEF in South Korea. Moreover: in the WCG USA 2010 he caused a big upset when he walked over Idra and qualified for the main event. Be sure to check the replay pack we made for you. A worthy hero indeed!

How to play?

You should show up at channel Attack on 29th at 23:00 CET and try to get G5's attention. If you succeed you will have the chance to take him down. A longshot, but maybe it's worth it. Be sure to also follow the stream in between the games, as the channel will change after each game. The faster you are, the higher you chances will be. However, there is a chance to win a spot in the series — use the image to create a funny cheerful (fan poster). You can try to be funny, softly flaming, teasing, writing a love letter, be cute… it's totally up to you. However, make sure that you send your final images via PM to SethGecko[Xp] (iCCup) or Gecko[Xp] (TL.net) before 28th December, 23:00 CET (24 hours before the event starts). Add your rank, your ICCup ID (name) and a way we can contact you (IRC, Skype, MSN, ICQ). The winner will get notified beforehand.
