— iCCup StarCraft Ladder Season 10 —

 

With the completion of not only the latest ProLeague, MSL and OSL but the Korean leg of the WCG tournament there hasn't been a better time to bring iCCup Season 10 to the StarCraft-starved masses.

 

Kick off your season on the latest Maps of the Week to fast-track yourself in the race for pole position on the StarCraft iCCup Ladder.So far the Koreans are as expected dominating the higher ranks, with serveral well known USA players not far behind — how long can they keep it up?

 

Look forward to more from our iCCup TV channel — a growing gamer channel in development, with commentary fronted by Kenny, as we are expecting to make this a worthy use of time for anyone interested in gaming at any level.

 

Some details to note early in this season include the possibility of playing a Korean progamer (Read more here), the new MotW post format featuring more information and I feel a better map selection process, the great banners by iCCup.Tym, and new features to the ladder and website!

 

— Website Update —

 

The countdown is finally revealed as a website update, and not many guesses from the community were correct from what I read! As many of you have surely noticed, the profile page of the website accompany new features such as blogs and post ratings in the new-look iCCup.com mainpage.

 

First of all is the addition of ratings in forum and blog posts — you can express your like or disdain for a user post by rewarding good posts with a positive rating value.

 

On top of this you are now able to personalise your profile with your hardware, blogs and a gallery. Not only that, but you can add friends under the new system. As an added perk to posting blogs, the best ones may be chosen by YelloAnt, Puremiss or myself to be published as news. While it won't appear on the main page, it will be accessible through the news tab at the top.

 

The final most obvious feature is the ability to cash 'spells'! This nifty feature grants XP to users for making contributions to the site and community and rewards these users with mana to cast spell, such as highlighting your own or others' comments amonst other novelties. Not all of the 'spells' are unlocked as of yet but they will be updated through the season. Read more on the spell help page! We will be trying to bring you as many new features to improve your gaming experience as possible, and while we are limited by time and finite resources we are in no short supply of great ideas from staff and the public, so we appreciate your patience and feedback.

— WarCraft III Ladder —

 

The WarCraft III iCCup Ladder is about to commence it's second season after an update to 1.24b, so be sure to read about it and tell your mates to join in what is sure to be a future mainstay of iCCup gaming! The DotA ladder is also being developed as time and resources permit.

 

— AntiHack Launcher Issue —

 

Note that the issue with StarCraft crashing due to the AH Launcher will be fixed and patches ASAP this weekend!
