How to get $1000 by playing DotA?

Playing DotA on iCCup not only brings you an enjoyment but it can benefit your wallet as well. After all, the current ladder season prize fund is $1000! This event shall be hosted in 2 main stages with the following details:

First stage — Qualifying. Ladder selection is just like in the natural order – easy and simple. In order to pass the selection you have to earn points as many as possible to be deemed worthy of participating in 2^ndstage. So, if you manage to get into the 5Х5 ladder rating top16 at the season end (29.02.2012), you have succeeded.

Second stage — Tourney. Players from the top16 will be allowed to call their own teams for a battle on the DotA Ladder Tournament, where the strongest DotA-gamers of the iCCup 9^thSeason shall prosper.

And of course, only the best get the money:

1st  place — $1000   2nd  place — 3000 cups*   3rd  place — 2000 cups

*Cups can be spent on various ways in iCCup store.

To enter the competition as a team, only one member has to reign supreme in rating.
